Mission

Omaha Orthopedic Clinic & Sports Medicine is committed to providing patients with convenient access to high-quality orthopedic care and to offer the most advanced and safest treatments to all of our patients. We believe that providing high-quality care is not only about the medical advice that we dispense, but more importantly about the relationships we have with our patients. To accomplish this goal, we have put together a carefully selected team of talented surgeons and staff who are dedicated to the principle of serving our patient's needs by offering continuous improment in care that is through and personal, efficient and convenient.

History

Omaha Orthopedic Clinic has been a practice of excellence since 1934.  We  provide quality orthopedic helath care to patients of all ages. Thanks to our supportive patients, we have been in business for over 70 years.

Staff

Michael J. Morrison, M.D.

Dr. Morrison  joined our practice in 1978. He attended Creighton University School of Medicine. Residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN.  Fellowship in Orthopedic Trama at St. Mary's Hospital, Duluth, MN.  Dr. Morrison specializes in Sports Medicine and Adult Reconstruction. 

Richard P. Murphy, M.D.

Dr. Murphy joined our practice in 1978.  He attended Creighton University School of Medicine.  Internship in Orthopedic Surgery at University of Kansas.  Residency in Orthopedic Surgery at University of Kansas.  Fellowship in Hand & Microsurgery at University of Colorado.  Dr. Murphy Specializes in Hand & Upper Extremity Orthopedic Surgery for Adults and Children and Microsurgey.

Peter M. Cimino, M.D.

Dr. Cimino joined our practice in 1989. He attended Creighton University School of Medicine.  Internship in Surgery at St. Luke's Hospital Kansas City, MO.  Residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans, LA.  Fellowships in Orthopedic Sports Medicine in Aspen, CO, Birminham, AL and Sydney, Australia.  Dr. Cimino specializes in Sports Medicine.

Jason J. Mickels, M.D.

Dr. Mickels joined our practice in 2006.  He attended Univeristy of Nebraska School of Medicine.  Internship in Surgery at University of Kansas Medical Center.  Residency in Orthopedic Surgery at University of Kansas Medical Center.  Fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at University of Minnesota Medical Center.  Dr Mickels specializes in Hand & Upper Extremity Orthopedic Surgery for Adults and Children, Microsurgery, Peripheral Nerve Surgery and Shoulder Replacement Surgery.
